Springing up the sunroom!

Oh me oh my. I stumbled upon the most gorgeous room recently, and with work going nuts I think the time has come to, ahem, spring this beauty upon you.

I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that I would take this room almost exactly as-is, and I plan on shamelessly (mostly) copying it sometime soon. Featured in Southern Living and brought to life by Lindsey Ellis Beatty, who gets to live in the room all the time, the sunroom started out with potential but not very much life:

It's a beautiful space, but needed a large dose of oomph, so Lindsey transformed it into a beacon of lively and lovely:

Tufted! Pinks, teals, oranges, whites, golds!

A close-up of the chairs, the pattern of which I am seriously digging:

You all know how I feel about tufted:

Finished off with a funky mélange of wall adornment:

Do you love it or do you love it? I'd ixnay the fur throw rug and add in some dark and jewel tones to make it more year-round, but I just adore it's sprightly shabby chic-ness (emphasis on the chic)!

  1. my first thoughts were: this is my favorite room you have ever featured! And then I saw the gross rug. I'm trying to figure out if it's supposed to look like an animal skin. And if so, what animal is it supposed to be? Can we sub that out and replace it with a rug as soft as the one in your living room?

also, just noticed the little mini bar in the corner. best part?

    ok, let's apparate there. now.
