Missoni accomplished.

That's right. I just stocked up on Missoni for Target. Here's the tragic (hyperbolic sarcasm) story first.

This morning my alarm went off at the ungodly hour of 6:30 a.m. Joseph was already up and about to leave for work, and he shockingly asked me what the %!*& I was doing setting my alarm so early. Me: "Whoops! Meant to set that for seven thirty, not six!" *turns off alarm* *wakes up at 8:20 to leave at 8:30. oops.* I get to work and am talking to a coworker about his new baby (yeah! babies!) when my other coworker, Corrin, excitedly asks me "WHAT DID YOU GET?" I'm so confused here. "What do you mean? Are you talking about the juicer we bought last week? Babies? Huh? Jigga-what?"

At this point, Corrin is in shock. Slowly she says, "Missoni for Target, Natalie. This morning."

Me: "Oh god no."

Me: "OH GOD NO. I EVEN SET MY ALARM LAST NIGHT."

Me: "WHAT HAVE I DOOOOONE???"

Because you KNOW all the stores are sold out already. And of course they didn't prepare so their website crashed. In case you somehow haven't seen it:

I had about 6 things picked out that I was planning on furiously grabbing from the store, and here it all is now only on ebay and so so esspensive.

But then, like a miracle from the gods of reasonably-priced fashion, the website came back up! I have never shopped online so intensely or quickly in my entire life. If you know me you know that is saying something. And apparently it was a good idea, because the website is back down now. But as of next week I shall be the happy happy happy owner of chevron stripes! And anything I don't want to keep goes straight up on ebay.

Mwahaha. That is all.

  1. I said a little prayer, lit my Missoni candle, and by the grace of Ottavio, the website was restored.

    Aaaaamen.
