I hope everyone's having a lovely week! I seriously can't believe it's Thursday already; only 2 days until the Bottle Rocket extravaganza!
I'm liking the shiny Thursday trend I've been employing here. So I shall continue it (for now at least)! For your sparkle fix today, I bring you some Elie Saab Haute Couture. These dresses speak for themselves; drop-dead gorgeous, impeccably constructed, and worth more than my entire apartment complex, each of them is a total work of art.
Don't take my word for it, though. Check them out yourselves. First, a couple of older ones from his Spring 2011 collection (note my affinity for gowns with sleeves):

This one's my favorite! |

I do wish the skirt were lined. |
And from his Fall 2011:

Again with the lining... |

And yet again. If I'm paying 20k for a dress I'd like to not have my thighs showing. Ah, well, details. |
And the piece de resistance, an absolutely epic wedding gown:
If you thought all high-fashion came from Paris or Milan, think again! I'm definitely keeping my eye on Lebanon (and, obviously, a more high-paying profession than publishing).
